The Public Service Transformation Department enables Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) speed up the process of institutionalizing Rapid Initiative (RRI) in conducting their affairs in the process of improving service delivery to citizens. One of the institutions that have undertaken this process is the City Council of Nairobi (CCN).

KNTC is a Kenyan State Corporation charged with stabilization of prices by trading in basic commodities as well as promoting the development of Small & Medium Sized Enterprise. KNTC has been brought to its knees due to years of mismanagement and an unfavorable business environment. Faced with closure by the Government, the new management embarked on a change management program and sought to use RRI as a tool for transformation.

The Company Registry is a department under the State Law Office, Office of the Attorney General which handles registration of business names and manages annual returns from registered companies.
